MUBA at Glance

Throughout 2025 and into 2026, the Malaysia Uzbekistan Business Alliance (MUBA) advanced its role as a dedicated bilateral platform connecting government, industry and entrepreneurs between Malaysia and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Beginning with the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Malaysia and the Malaysia–Uzbekistan Business Forum in February 2025, MUBA helped convert diplomatic momentum into structured business engagement. The year continued with tourism promotion, high-level Malaysian engagement in Tashkent, participation in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, logistics corridor discussions, franchise development visits and strategic courtesy calls with Uzbekistan’s energy and business leadership.

In 2026, MUBA further expanded its sectoral agenda through agriculture and food security engagement at KK Mart HQ / Uzbekistan Trade House, followed by the special visit of the Governor of Samarkand to Kuala Lumpur for regional trade and investment promotion.
